Angie Lee PeriodontistDr. Lee completed her dental school at the University of Montreal and then completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, where she worked as a Faculty member and a general dentist in private practice. Dr. Lee completed a Masters in Periodontics from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where she also stayed as a Faculty member. She served as Faculty at Harvard School of Dental Medicine while practicing periodontics in private practice in Massachusetts.

Periodontal and implant research has been an interest of Dr. Lee’s throughout her career, having been the author of numerous published articles in prestigious journals including the Journal of Periodontology, International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry, Implant Dentistry, International Journal of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and the Journal of Clinical Periodontology.

Dr. Lee was a peer reviewer of the Journal of Dental Research, the Journal of Periodontology, and the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry.

Dr. Lee has received awards dedicated to Excellence in Implants and Periodontics, and dedicated to patient care:

  • Dr. and Mrs. Gerald M. Kramer Scholar Award for Excellence finalist from the American Academy of Periodontology
  • Richard J. Lazzara Fellowship in Advanced Implant Surgery finalist from the American Academy of Periodontology
  • Sigurd P. Ramfjord Award for Excellence from the University of Michigan
  • Distinguished Periodontics Graduate Student Fellowship from the University of Michigan
  • Recipient of the Canadian Academy of Periodontology Award
  • Billy A. Smith Memorial Patient Rapport Award from the University of Michigan
  • Block Grant MS Award from the University of Michigan

  • Volpe Prize finalist from The Ohio State University and The Colgate-Palmolive Company
  • First Place Graduate Student Research Forum from the Midwest Society of Periodontology

Hobbies/Interest:

Dr. Lee was born and raised in Montreal and met her husband, Jesus, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She enjoys spending time with her daughter and son. They settled in the Fort Collins area where they enjoy hiking, biking, and camping. Traveling together is one of their favorite hobbies. Some of their favorite places visited have been: Spain, Italy, Austria, France, China, and the Dominican Republic.
